About śrī.

śrī dēvī is associated with every form of well being. She is the daughter of bhRgu maharši and the wife of višńu.

The word siri in kannada and telugu has evolved from śrī and is often used to denote all manner of material wealth.

śrī gives mental well-being.

śrī gives us access to spiritual wealth.

viśńu is the source of śrī.

The 65th ślōka of the višńu sahasranāmam is good practice for the sound śrī. It gives some names of the omnipresent višńu, that are connected to well-being.

It is recommended that those born when the moon is in line with anurādha nakšatram (first pādam), chant this.

श्री श्रीद​: – śrīdah – He who gives śrī – well being

श्री श्रीश: – śrīśah – He who is the lord of śrī

श्री श्रीनिवास: – śrīnivāsah – The residence of śrī

श्री श्रीनिधि: – śrīnidhih – The (hidden) treasure śrī

श्री श्रीविभावन​: – śrī vibhāvanah – He who manifests śrī

श्री श्रीधर​​: – śrī dharah – He who bears (supports, upholds) śrī

श्री श्रीकर​​: – śrī karah – He who causes śrī

श्रेयस् – śrēyas – well being, the state of śrī

श्रीमान् – śrīmān – One with śrī

लोकत्रयाश्रय: – lokatrayāśrayah – The refuge of the three worlds.
